I was reading the latest National Geographic and I was flipping through it looking at the pictures (that magazine the greatest pictures ever!) and I found a picture of what must be the most adorable thing ever - a tree kangaroo (Matschie's Tree Kangaroo below)! If you have the September edition leaf through to the Expeditions Department.
The actual article is sad - it talks about how the kangaroos are being ousted by loggers and hunted by villagers for their tails to decorate their headresses (AWWW)! I have to say that is the coolest tail ever, and if I were to get a tail, that would so be the one I'd pick!
If you do get it and have some spare time read "Tales From the Bog". It's a really cool article about the bodies of Celts buried in the peat bogs of Europe. I liked it. The pictures in the Glacier Park article are a must-see too! Oh, and I almost forgot "Vesuvius Countdown" was good too!
