Well I was inspired by that last comment to keep the journal going I guess. I can at least on weekends. I really do enjoy it, just the Internet breaking down makes me feel unreliable. But it'll all work itself out in the long run! =]
As you know, I liked the 300 movie pretty well, and I started researching some themes from the movie like "Leonidas I" and "Thermopylae" etc. Well I found this awesome painting by one of my favorite artists Jacques-Louis David titled "Leonidas at Thermopylae" in Paintings in the Louvre, which is probably the best Louvre painting reference book in the history of man. I scanned it and put it at the bottom of the page. There is a little bit of nudity in it, but I didn't think it would really bother anybody. Just don't scroll down too much if it does. That white fading shouldn't be there in it, though, that was just my scanner. I couldn't get the whole page since its in a book you know...
I love U.S. History this year! Mr. Green's great! He just doesn't like me to well, because he invited me to ask him a history question from outside the book, because he thought he'd get it anyway, but he didn't. It kind of embarrassed him in front of the class, but no matter. We're currently having this ongoing debate whether or not the Inca used llamas as pack animals. I say they did and says otherwise, and that he has a lot of people backing him up, but I have National Geographic, Encarta, Wikipedia, and Brittanica on mine so I sort of pummeled him on that one, too. Ha, ha... I think he likes having a student though who's really into history like him, though. He's no longer the only one who reads "Civil War Illustrated". His tests are great too. For the little subheadings like Multiple Choice, Short Answer, and Matching, he puts Multiple Guess, Very Short Answer, and Head Bashing. I really want to win the newspaper too! I think there were only three of us who got 100%, and I'm pretty confident I'll get some more! He challenged me to get 100% on all his tests too, because hesaid no one's ever done it before. We'll see about that...

Ha, ha... yup. =] I'll make sure to tell him. He's pretty cool, but he's really strict about his testing. Yup, Scencer T. got up to get a Kleenex, and it was our first test after he JUST told us all his testing rules, so he gave him a 0%. Not to mention this huge shout-out that brought Mrs. Crowl down to see that everything was alright. It was pretty exciting!!
haha omg thats crazyy!
good old mr green though
gotta love him fersure.
